1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of ezy Youtube Video Control ("the extension"), a browser extension distributed through the Chrome Web Store and developed by an independent developer ("the developer"). By installing or using the extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install the extension, or uninstall it.

The extension is independently developed and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google. "YouTube" and "Google" are trademarks of Google LLC.

2. Description of the Service

The extension is provided free of charge and adds user-controlled features to youtube.com pages, including player, layout, chapter, caption, playlist, list-filtering, Shorts, optional video-summary, optional settings-synchronization, and optional channel-folder features. No account with the developer is required or offered. Optional features that connect to a Google account are off by default and activate only after explicit user actions.

3. License

The developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the extension for its intended purpose. The extension's code and assets remain the property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works of the extension except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

The extension's handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every YouTube change, browser version, or environment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, subscriptions, settings, or profits, arising out of or relating to the use of or inability to use the extension. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Changes to the Service and to These Terms

The developer may add, change, or discontinue features of the extension at any time. These Terms may be updated as the extension evolves; the current version is published at this page with its "Last updated" date. Continued use of the extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser. The developer may suspend or discontinue distribution of the extension. Sections 3, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence applies.
